Common Cannabis Terms

Cannabidoil: A non-psychotropic chemical compound found in cannabis, abbreviated CBD.

Cannabinoids: A class of chemical compounds, with various effects, isolated from cannabis. At least 113 different natural cannabinoids have been identified.

Cannabinoid Receptors: activated by cannabinoids, influencing appetite, pain-sensation, mood, and memory. Two types of cannabinoid receptors have been discovered, including cannabinoid receptor type 1 and cannabinoid type 2.

Cannabinol: A mildly psychoactive substance found in cannabis, abbreviated CBN.

Cannabis: Latin or scientific name for the entire hemp plant, legally named marijuana or marihuana in some jurisdictions. It is consumed to experience psychoactive or therapeutic results.

Cannabis Flower Essential Oil: A therapeutic product with little or no psychoactive properties extracted from cannabis leaves and flowers.

Cannabis indica, Cannabis ruderalis, Cannabis sativa: the three main species of cannabis.

CBD: A non-psychotropic chemical compound called cannabidoil, found in cannabis.

ECS: The newly discovered system in the human body, called the EndoCannabinoid System, thus ECS.

Endocannabinoid System: The newly discovered neurotransmitter, endocrine system in the human body.

Grass: common slang name for marijuana.

Marijuana or Marihuana: Cannabis with greater amounts of THC.

Pot: common slang name for marijuana.

Tetrahydrocannabinoil: A psychoactive extract, often associated with the ‘high’ in marijuana abbreviated THC.

THC: A psychoactive extract often associated with the ‘high’ in marijuana, called TetraHydroCannabinoil, thus THC. The THC is the regulated portion of medical cannabis in the United States and must be under 0.3%.

Weed: common slang name for marijuana.

Try water-based CBD for six to ten times the absorption rate of oil-based CBD and watch chronic pain, inflammation, cancer and autistic symptoms diminish or even disappear!
